Things to consider when renovating bathrooms in Sydney:
September 30th, 2010- Decide on your materials first, most of us do not have the luxury of being free from a budget and the materials are one of the key factors when it comes to the budget. Materials are hollywoodan investment, take time to consider how much you are willing to spend on it.

- Don’t lose sight of the function of your bathroom, in most homes it has to facilitate 4 or more people. We all love to think of our new minimalist designer bathroom but don’t forget the practicalities!
- One tip about getting your bathroom designed that is not immediately obvious or exciting is to consider what amenities will and will not be available during the course of the renovation and plan for it.
- A Constant hassle that most people have been familiar with is badly placed or the unavailability of suitable power points. Take time to consider where you will be using them in the bathroom and how many you require, the last thing you want is a myriad of double adapters just itching to short out on you.
- Consider the lighting this can not only avoid a dark and damp room but could add a style and warmth to your bathroom renovation when done with care.
- We all know that mirrors add space and this is no less true in the bathroom.
- For even more “Open Space” you may consider having an open shower area, unrestricted by curtains or doors. This not only adds to the style of your bathroom it is infinitely more liberating to use!
